Raw Icelandic Fleece - Freydis

Raw Icelandic fleece from fall 2022 shearing from our moorit ewe Freydis. This skirted shearing has 3 pounds of soft chocolate brown thel (undercoat) and copper brown-to-caramel mohair-like tog (overcoat) with long staple. This fleece will give your project incredible depth! Skirted with very little VM, we will go through before shipping to make sure we catch missed second cuts and vegetable matter.

Color ranges from chocolate to caramel. 7" staple length. Great for spinning together for lopi yarn, separated for spinning, or a felted rug.

Our farm is located in beautiful Door County, WI. The sheep are happily free range and have not been sprayed with insecticides.
