Raw Icelandic Fleece - Juniper

Raw Icelandic fleece from fall 2022 shearing from our black ewe Juniper. This skirted shearing has 2 pounds, 10 oz of soft black thel (undercoat) and soft mohair tog (overcoat). This fleece has a beautiful 6 inch staple. Skirted with some VM, we will go through before shipping to make sure we catch missed second cuts and vegetable matter.

Color ranges from true black to charcoal grey and silver. Great for spinning together for lopi yarn, separated for spinning, felting, or felting into a rug.

Our farm is located in beautiful Door County, WI. The sheep are happily free range and have not been sprayed with insecticides.
