Midweight Fjolskylda Lopi-Style Yarn | White

Our lopi-style yarn takes full advantage of our Icelandic sheep's dual-coated fleece. The yarn is not plied, but more like a roving with a slight twist - creating an airier, warmer knit.

Our white lopi-style yarn comes from our ewe Dìka and lamb Drìfa - creating what we are calling Fjölskylda, or family-style yarn. Creamy white is perfect on its own, or for dyeing. This yarn takes advantage of the strength of the ewe's tog (outercoat) and eliminates some of the pickiness with the softness of the lambswool. Compare our lopi-style with commercial brands!

This wool is undyed and in its natural color. Our sheep are raised on a grass-fed diet in Door County, WI. We don't use insecticides on their fleeces.
